Change is coming fast. The internet is about to get much faster. By the end of 2015, it will go from 50 Megabits to 1,000 Megabits (1 Gigabit) or more, just by changing your modem/router. One city near Minneapolis already has 10,000 Megabit speed (10 Gigabit). This will spark dramatically new website technologies.
Monitors are changing from High Definition to Ultra High Definition (4K), which has four times the resolution of High Definition (1080P). In late 2014 Apple released a 5K iMac and is about to refresh the rest of its line. 8K TVs have already been demonstrated by Sony – 8 times the clarity of High Definition. Even now 25% of all TVs sold are now 4K. If you have not seen 4K yet, you will love it.
Websites will also change to 4K resolution soon. In the last year website templates have gone from using only 9 inches in the middle of the screen to FULL SCREEN. Is yours FULL SCREEN?
